The Experimental Psychology Lab (EPL) operates within the Department of Psychology at the University of Cyprus.
EPL has been established with funding from the European Research Council (Independent Starting Grant-FP7 Specific Programme IDEAS) to the lab´s director Marios Avraamides.

EPL employs several scientists at various points in their careers including postdoctoral researchers, graduate research assistants, undergraduate research assistants and other students. Information about people currently employed at EPL can be found in the People tab.
Most researchers in EPL conduct research in topics that relate to Spatial Cognition using a variety of tools including personal computers and Virtual Reality (VR) technology. However, we are also interested in other topics within the general field of Cognitive Psychology e.g., attention, perception. More details about our current and previous research can be found in the Research tab.

We maintain close ties with a number of scientists and research labs from both Cyprus and other countries (see Links tab) and we have a number of on-going collaborations with scientists from other European countries and the USA (see Research). In addition, we frequently organize presentations for which we invite renowned scientists as guest speakers. Information about these presentations as well as other opportunities are regularly posted on the News page.
Feel free to contact any of the lab members for information regarding our lab and our research or request reprints of our publications.
